Dhanbad, Oct 16: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, organized ‘Srijan,’ a three-day Science Exhibition cum Competition featuring Robotics, IT, and Quiz contests.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Sharma, Executive Director of BIT-Mesra Ranchi, along with DPS Bokaro Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar.
The competition was judged by a distinguished panel including Prof. Debjani Mitra, Prof. Mukul Kumar Das (Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT-ISM Dhanbad), Dr. Rajeev Kumar (Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BIT Mesra Ranchi), Dr. Priyank Saxena (Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication, BIT Mesra Ranchi), and Dr. Ankur Ranjan (Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, BIT Mesra Ranchi).

Around 150 students participated, showcasing their talents through various exhibits while also advocating for child rights. A total of 36 stalls were set up across Junior and Senior categories, featuring Science Exhibitions, Child Rights presentations, and Robotics competitions.
Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Sharma praised the participants’ presentations and highlighted the significance of such events. He emphasized that learning extends beyond the classroom and that the innovative power of youth is key to realizing the dream of a developed India.

Principal Dr. Gangwar appreciated the students for their scientific curiosity and creativity. He noted, “The fundamental role of science and technology is to improve human life without causing harm. ‘Srijan’ provides a platform not only to experience the thrill of science but also to foster innovation and technology guided by empathy to uplift humanity.”
