Jamshedpur, Oct 25: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi, has forecast light to moderate rain or thunderstorms at a few places across Jharkhand over the next several days.
According to the weather bulletin, similar conditions are expected to prevail from October 25 to 29, with isolated light rain likely on October 30.
A sector-wise warning issued for the state indicates that on October 29, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated locations over the south-eastern and north-eastern parts of Jharkhand, covering districts such as East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, and Giridih.

No significant weather warnings have been issued for other regions of the state between October 24 and 28.
The report further noted that minimum temperatures have remained appreciably above normal, with departures ranging between 3.1°C and 5.0°C at isolated places.
Maximum temperatures too have been normal to above normal at several locations.
In the last 24 hours, no rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state.
