Jamshedpur, Nov 3: The South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced major changes in train operations under the Adra Division due to ongoing infrastructure development and maintenance work.

Several MEMU and express trains will remain cancelled, short-terminated, or rescheduled on specific dates in November.

According to the official notification, two MEMU passenger trains will remain cancelled on November 9 — the Asansol–Adra–Asansol MEMU Passenger (68046/68045) and the Adra–Bhaga–Adra MEMU Passenger (68077/68078).

Short-Terminated Trains

Jharkhand–Dhanbad Express (18019/18020) will operate only up to Bokaro Steel City on November 4 and 7.

Service between Bokaro and Dhanbad (both directions) will remain suspended.

Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman MEMU Express (13503/13504) will run only up to Gomoh, with no service between Gomoh and Hatia in both directions.

Shalimar–Bhojudih–Shalimar Express (12885/12886) will run up to Adra on Monday and Tuesday, skipping the Adra–Bhojudih–Adra section.

Tatanagar–Asansol–Barabhum MEMU (68056/68060) will run only up to Adra on November 4, with its service between Adra and Asansol suspended.

Rescheduled Trains

Buxar–Tatanagar Express (18184) will depart 90 minutes late from Buxar on November 9.

Dhanbad–Bankura MEMU (68088) will start 60 minutes late from Dhanbad on November 4, 5, and 9.

Hatia–Kharagpur Express (18036) will leave 90 minutes late from Hatia on November 6 and 8.

The South Eastern Railway has appealed to passengers to check the latest schedule updates before planning their journey and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused due to the essential infrastructure development work.
