New Delhi, Nov 6: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized assets worth ₹11.14 crore belonging to former Indian cricketers Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan in connection with its investigation into the alleged illegal betting platform 1xBet.

Officials said the agency took action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after discovering that both players had signed endorsement deals with the offshore betting company and its associated entities.

According to the ED’s findings, Raina’s mutual fund investments amounting to ₹6.64 crore and Dhawan’s immovable property valued at ₹4.5 crore have been provisionally attached.

The federal agency has also interrogated several other celebrities as part of the probe, including ex-cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa, along with actors Sonu Sood, Urvashi Rautela, Mimi Chakraborty, and Ankush Hazra.
