Jamshedpur, Nov 21: Jharkhand is expected to witness foggy mornings followed by clear and dry weather conditions over the next four days, according to the latest forecast of the India Meteorological Department.

From November 21 to 22, shallow to moderate fog is likely to affect visibility during early morning hours across several districts.

The sky will gradually clear as the day progresses, maintaining dry weather.

On November 23 and 24, fog or mist conditions are expected in the morning, followed by partly cloudy skies later in the day.

However, no rainfall is anticipated, and the dry spell is likely to persist throughout the state.

Weather scientists stated that no significant synoptic system currently influences Jharkhand’s weather.

North-westerly to northerly winds continue to prevail in the lower tropospheric levels, supporting stable and dry weather patterns.

Dry conditions dominated the state in the past 24 hours.

Chaibasa registered the highest maximum temperature at 31.4°C, while Gumla recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 10.0°C, hinting at a noticeable dip in night temperatures in several parts of the state.

Authorities have advised residents to exercise caution during early morning travel due to reduced visibility caused by fog, especially in rural and open areas.

With winter gradually intensifying in Jharkhand, temperatures are expected to fall further in the coming days.
