Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, observed the 5th anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) with an awareness programme at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium today, November 28.
The event focused on creating a drug-free campus and sensitising students to the dangers of substance abuse.
Students took a collective pledge: “I will not take drugs, nor will I allow anyone else to do so,” reaffirming their commitment to an addiction-free lifestyle.

Speakers explained how drug abuse affects personal growth, hampers community development and undermines efforts toward building a healthy, safe and progressive nation.
Students participated actively, expressing their determination to support efforts to eradicate drug abuse from society.
The programme was conducted by NSS Programme Officer P Mali, who urged the youth to lead by example and inspire others to stay away from drugs.
