New Delhi, Dec 19: Dense fog continued to cause major disruptions at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday, leading to the cancellation of at least 79 flights, including some international services.
Over 230 flights faced delays, with the average departure delay reaching 49 minutes, according to Flightradar24.
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), which manages the country’s busiest airport handling around 1,300 flights daily, said operations were being conducted under CAT III conditions due to the heavy fog.

While arrivals and departures are ongoing, some flights are experiencing delays or disruptions.
DIAL expressed regret for the inconvenience and assured that its ground staff are coordinating closely with all stakeholders to assist passengers and provide support across the terminals.
