Jamshedpur, 20 February: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jamshedpur Zonal Council has elected Vishal Kumar Agarwalla as Chairman and Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, Managing Director of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL), as Vice-Chairman for the year 2026–27.
The announcement was made during the CII Jamshedpur Zonal Annual Day held in the city on Thursday evening.
Vishal Agarwalla Takes Charge
Vishal Kumar Agarwalla, Director of CTC Group, takes over the leadership with extensive experience in the precision tooling sector. CTC Group is a global consortium comprising CTC India, CTC Precision Tools, Kemmer Präzision GmbH (Germany), GCT GmbH (Germany) and ATS (Singapore). The group specialises in advanced carbide and diamond-coated cutting tools used in high-precision applications across electronics, EMS, semiconductors, aerospace, precision engineering, and medical and dental sectors.

Agarwalla holds a Master’s degree in Global Management with specialisation in International Trade from the University of Southern California, USA. He previously served as National Chair of Young Indians in 2024 and is a Board Member of the Industrial Cutting Tool Manufacturers Association (ICTMA). He is also part of the Executive Committee of SEEDS (Socio Economic and Education Development Society) and the Jamshedpur Management Association.
Atul Bhatnagar as Vice-Chairman
Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, a seasoned professional with more than three decades of experience at Tata Steel, has been elected Vice-Chairman.
Since joining Tata Steel in 1992, Bhatnagar has held key leadership roles in Coal Beneficiation, Planning, Natural Resources and Mining Operations. An alumnus of XLRI and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT–BHU, he currently leads TSUISL with a focus on infrastructure excellence, utilities management and sustainable growth aligned with the Tata Group’s values.
With the new office bearers in place, the CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council is expected to intensify industry engagement and drive regional industrial development in the coming year.
