Registrations open for Yuva Sangam Phase VI

 

Ranchi/Dhanbad, March 10: Online registrations for Yuva Sangam Phase VI, a youth exchange programme under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative of the Ministry of Education, have opened from March 2 and will continue till March 18, 2026.

The programme offers young people aged 18 to 30 years an opportunity to travel to paired states and Union Territories and experience India’s diverse culture, traditions, development initiatives and technological advancements through immersive exposure visits.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad paired with IIT Indore

In the current phase, 22 higher education institutions across the country have been paired into 11 State/UT groups to organise educational and cultural exchange tours.

Under the programme, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, representing Jharkhand, has been paired with IIT Indore of Madhya Pradesh to facilitate youth exchange visits between the two states.

Programme launched in 2023

Launched in 2023 under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Yuva Sangam programme aims to strengthen national integration by encouraging interaction among youth from different regions of the country.

Participants undertake 5–7-day exposure tours designed around five themes known as the 5 Ps — Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions), Pragati (Development), Prodyogiki (Technology) and Paraspar Sampark (People-to-People Connect).

Over 6,000 youth participated so far

Since its launch, the programme has seen enthusiastic participation, with more than 6,000 youth and coordinators taking part in over 130 exposure tours across the country.

Eligible students, NSS and NYKS volunteers, and young professionals can register through the official portals https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/ or https://ekbharat.gov.in/ before the deadline.

Authorities at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad have encouraged eligible youth to take advantage of the opportunity to explore India’s cultural diversity and strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
