Jamshedpur, April 9: XLRI Delhi-NCR campus held its 5th Annual Convocation on April 8, celebrating the graduation of 207 students. The cohort included 178 students from the Business Management (BM) programme and 30 from the Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (IEV) programme.
The ceremony was attended by faculty, institutional leaders, and families, reflecting a strong sense of achievement and academic excellence.
Suresh Narayanan delivers keynote, stresses values and resilience
Suresh Narayanan, former Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India Ltd., attended as the Chief Guest and delivered the convocation address. He urged graduates to look beyond material success and focus on fulfilment, resilience, integrity, and self-awareness.

Referring to the teachings of poet-saint Kabir, he highlighted the importance of inner contentment and purposeful living in a rapidly changing business environment.
Strong placements: average package Rs 31.4 lakh
The event also showcased strong placement outcomes for the 2024–26 batch. A total of 145 recruiters, including 25 new organisations, offered over 576 domestic roles and two international opportunities.
The average annual package stood at Rs 31.40 lakh, while the highest international offer reached Rs 1.10 crore. Around 42.5 per cent of students secured pre-placement offers, indicating strong industry confidence.
Addressing the gathering, Fr. Nelson A. D’Silva, Acting Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR, said the convocation marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of purpose and responsibility, expressing confidence in the graduates’ future contributions.
