Ranchi, April 15: NTPC Mining Limited (NML) celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, during its Chintan Baithak held at Hotel Radisson in Ranchi.
The event began with floral tributes to Dr B.R. Ambedkar, followed by discussions on his contributions to India and his enduring legacy.

The programme was attended by Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), NTPC Ltd and Chairman, NML; Naveen Jain, Chief Executive Officer, NML; and Ram Baboo Prasad, Advisor, NML.
Heads of projects from all operating mines also participated in the event. Those present included Akhilesh Singh (Talaipalli), K. Chandrashekhar (Badam), Arun Saxena (KD CMP and North Dhadhu), Dhananjay Shrikhande (CB CMP), S.K. Dash (PB CMP), and B.R. Prasoon (Dulanga).
Prabhat Ram, General Manager (HR), addressed the gathering and highlighted the significant contributions of Babasaheb Ambedkar to the nation, emphasising his role in shaping modern India.
The event served as a platform to reflect on Ambedkar’s ideals and their relevance in today’s society.
