Next Phase: Door-to-Door Census

Following the self-enumeration phase, the House Listing and Housing Census will be conducted across Jharkhand from May 16 to June 14, 2026. During this period, enumerators and census officials will carry out door-to-door data collection across all districts.

Officials confirmed that administrative preparations are already underway statewide to ensure the smooth execution of this large-scale exercise.

Senior Officials Present

The occasions were attended by key officials, including Prabhat Kumar (Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Jharkhand), Sushant Gaurav (Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation), Dr. Satyendra Kumar Gupta (Joint Director), Sheshnath Baitha (District Statistics Officer, Ranchi), and Gyanchandra Mahto (Assistant Director), among others.
