RSS training camp concludes in Jamshedpur, 226 Swayamsevaks participate

Jamshedpur, June 10: The concluding ceremony of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) Sangh Shiksha Varg training camp was held at the RBS Engineering College campus in Jamshedpur on Wednesday.

The ceremony was attended by Sarvadhikari Mahadev Munda, Mahanagar Sanghchalak Ramchandra Ram, Jamshedpur Vibhag Sanghchalak Inder Agarwal, chief guest Swami Ishwar Premanand Ji Maharaj, special guest Murlidhar Kedia and keynote speaker Dr Mohan Singh.

A total of 226 trainees participated in the camp, including 72 in the Ghosh (band) section and 172 in the general section. The participants represented 55 Khandas, 44 Nagars, 24 districts, four Mahanagars and eight Vibhags.

Several RSS functionaries from physical training, intellectual and organisational departments contributed to the camp’s conduct. Among them were Prant Pracharak Gopal, Sah-Prant Pracharak Rajiv Kant, Sharirik Pramukh Kunal, chief instructor Akash and co-chief instructor Devendra. The concluding ceremony was conducted by camp Karyavah Vijay.

Dr Mohan Singh highlights RSS centenary year

Addressing the gathering, Dr Mohan Singh outlined the significance of the Sangh Shiksha Varg and said RSS volunteers undergo training through regular shakhas, weekly gatherings and residential camps to contribute to character building and nation-building.

He said the RSS has entered its centenary year and recalled the vision of founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar for nation-building, creation of ideal citizens and establishment of Ram Rajya. He stressed the importance of social unity, organisation and cultural awareness.

Dr Singh also referred to Swami Vivekananda’s role in national awakening, India’s civilisational heritage and the contribution of Dr Hedgewar in building the organisation.

Focus on ‘Panch Parivartan’

Speaking on the RSS campaign of Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations), Dr Singh emphasised strengthening family values, promoting social harmony beyond caste divisions, environmental conservation, encouraging the use of indigenous products and mother tongues, and fostering civic responsibility.

He called upon volunteers to expand activities related to service, organisation and value-based social work across all sections of society.

Dr Singh said a strong nation can be built only through an organised society that places national interest above all else. He concluded by urging volunteers to continue working with dedication and commitment towards nation-building and the vision of making India a Vishwa Guru.
