Ranchi, Oct. 10: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today told the trainee DSPs and Home Guard district commanders to have full confidence that they will live up to the oath of service to the nation that they have taken here.
He was addressing the convocation ceremony of 39 trainee Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and 14 District Commandants, Home guards of the 7th to 10th batch at Jharkhand Police Academy, Hazaribagh today.
On this occasion, he inspected the parade and took the salute. He congratulated all the trainee officers and their parents on the new beginning. Before this, the chief minister paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by laying a wreath at the Martyr Memorial.
The chief minister said that the rigorous training they have received here will be recorded as a historic feat in their life. “Training will increase their self-confidence and confidence. It will increase their work efficiency,” he added.
“What they have learned during the training will prove helpful in handling the challenges they will face while performing your duties,” he said.
The chief minister told the trainee officers that their service is dedicated to the common citizens. “They all are well aware that Jharkhand is counted among the backward states. The people here are very innocent, straightforward, and simple. When they come to them with their problems, they are expected to listen to their problems with full sensitivity and solve them,” he said.
Become an icon for rural youth
The chief minister said that today a large number of youths from rural areas are coming to big positions. “They are making their own place with their hard work and dedication. The achievement they have achieved by joining the police service will act as an inspiration for the youth. I believe that they should become an icon for the rural youth,” Soren said.
On this occasion, STF jawans Bablu Nayak and Abhijeet lovingly presented a beautiful self-engraved picture of Chief Minister Hemant Soren to him.
Among others who were present on this occasion included MLAs- Umashankar Akela and Amba Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Avinash Kumar, Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Vandana Dadel, Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Additional Director General of Police, Training Priya Dubey, Inspector General of Police, Training Manoj Kaushik, Joint Director-cum-Deputy Inspector General of Police of Jharkhand Police Academy Sanjay Ranjan Singh and many senior police officers and district administration officials were present.
