Dhanbad, Jan 29: Veteran politician and Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to face the Enforcement Directorate boldly and don’t fear from being arrested.
Hemant Soren was out of reach of ED since morning when the agency team knocked on his residence in Delhi, and the veteran independent MLA Saryu Roy writing on X to the Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said, “Face ED boldly. Arresting is not necessary during interrogation. Even though it is done during interrogation, fearing arresting is not an alternative”.
Hemant Soren is in Delhi and ED team is trying to locate him for interrogation in a money laundering case related to an alleged Ranchi land scam.

The ED team reached New Delhi based Shant Niketan residence of Hemant Soren in the early morning for interrogation but could not find his location till 2 pm. It was said that Hemant Soren was traceless for the ED.
Saryu Roy has further written on X to Hemant Soren that he must prepare a political strategy for combating the situation rather than avoiding meeting the agency and behave in a lawful conduct.
“You are the chief minister of Jharkhand. Living hiding disgraces prestige of Jharkhand chief minister’s post”, said Roy in his tweet.
