Jamshedpur: An enlightening active learning session was recently organised at Arka Jain University by the Health Vertical of the Jamshedpur Chapter of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Yuva. The session delved into discussions on maintaining a healthy daily routine and life balance.

Notable speaker Jhumpa Mukherjee, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of an ad tech startup, brought a wealth of experience as a marketing professional, author and health educator to the engaging event.

Possessing a master’s degree in International Business Operations and Digital Marketing, Jhumpa Mukherjee shared invaluable insights during the session, captivating the audience with her expertise.

The interactive session included a question and answer segment, allowing participants to evaluate various aspects of their daily routines on different scales, fostering self-reflection and personal development.

Quality sleep

During the discussion, Jhumpa Mukherjee emphasized the importance of quality sleep for a healthier lifestyle. She advised the audience to adopt the habit of turning off mobile devices at least an hour before bedtime to promote restful sleep, contributing to overall well-being.

Intermittent fasting, exercise

Additionally, Mukherjee shed light on the significance of intermittent fasting as a method to cultivate mindful eating habits, emphasizing the role it plays in improving health. The speaker stressed the need for daily exercise, recommending at least 30 minutes of physical activity to maintain a healthy body.

Developing life’s purpose

Addressing the audience, Mukherjee highlighted the importance of developing a sense of purpose and direction in life, citing its positive impact on motivation and satisfaction. She suggested starting the day with hydrating fluids, such as water or herbal tea, to kickstart the digestive system and boost overall health.

Q&A session

In the question-and-answer session, participants raised queries about various aspects of their daily routines, covering topics from sleep depth to morning rituals and eating habits. Jhumpa Mukherjee’s insightful responses provided attendees with practical tips and strategies for cultivating a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

The session concluded with attendees gaining valuable insights into the significance of quality sleep, mindful eating, regular exercise, and a sense of purpose in fostering overall well-being. Jhumpa Mukherjee’s expertise left a lasting impression on the participants, offering tangible steps for integrating these habits into their daily lives.
