Jamshedpur, March 6: Automotive manufacturing units of Jamshedpur and adjoining Seraikela had a good show at this year’s ACMA Excellence Awards- 2025, held in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Around 60 auto component manufacturers received 109 awards across 10 categories during the 59th ACMA Excellence Award ceremony, held every year to recognize innovation and excellence in India’s auto component manufacturing sector.
The ceremony highlighted industry achievements under the theme “Viksit Bharat: Innovating for an Inclusive, Sustainable & Resilient Manufacturing Future.”
Shriram Pistons And Rings Ltd, Ghaziabad emerged as a dominant force at this year’s awards, securing multiple top honors, including Platinum awards in Excellence in Manufacturing, Excellence in New Product Design and Development (NPDD) and Localization, and Excellence in Export.
Jamshedpur’s thriving manufacturing sector was well-represented at the awards, with Adityapur industrial area based Metalwork Industries Limited earning recognition for its commitment to operational excellence.

The company received Certificate of Merit (COM) awards in:
- Excellence in Manufacturing
- Excellence in Export
- Excellence in Supplier Development
