Indian Embassy issues advisory
This occurs in the midst of intense rains that pounded the United Arab Emirates and created conditions akin to flooding.
Due to the current circumstances, the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued an advisory recommending that Indian travellers heading to or passing through the airport postpone any non-essential travel until flight operations return to normal.
In order to help travelers, the Indian consulate in Dubai has also put emergency helplines into action.
