New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday launched the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP) at five additional airports — Lucknow, Amritsar, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli.
The service, launched via video conferencing, is aimed at providing quicker and smoother immigration clearances for travellers.

Highlighting the initiative, Shah said the program would significantly enhance passenger convenience and ensure a seamless immigration experience. He described the expansion as a moment of pride and satisfaction for the nation.

The FTI-TTP was first introduced on June 22, 2024, at Terminal-3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. With its latest extension, the scheme is steadily moving towards covering more airports across India.

During the virtual event, the Home Minister also paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on the anniversary of his iconic speech at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago, remarking that India continues to progress on the path envisioned by the spiritual leader.
