New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday launched the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP) at five additional airports — Lucknow, Amritsar, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli.

The service, launched via video conferencing, is aimed at providing quicker and smoother immigration clearances for travellers.

Highlighting the initiative, Shah said the program would significantly enhance passenger convenience and ensure a seamless immigration experience. He described the expansion as a moment of pride and satisfaction for the nation.

The FTI-TTP was first introduced on June 22, 2024, at Terminal-3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. With its latest extension, the scheme is steadily moving towards covering more airports across India.
