He accused the ruling coalition of resorting to its “old deceptive tactics,” alleging that the INDI alliance is on its way to becoming a “thugbandhan” once again.

Marandi pointed out that the INDIA bloc had made several guarantees to secure votes, but these now appear to be empty election promises.

He reminded the public that the JMM-Congress alliance had assured farmers that paddy would be purchased at a rate of ₹3,200 per quintal. “However, with the non-fulfilment of these promises, farmers are feeling betrayed,” he stated.

Marandi called on Chief Minister Hemant Soren to honour the election commitment by purchasing paddy at the promised rate of ₹3,200 per quintal. He also emphasised the need for a transparent procurement system and timely payments to ensure fairness to farmers.

“The government must not forget that farmers are the backbone of our country. Ignoring their problems is an injustice to the future of everyone,” he asserted.
