Demands for CBI Probe
Marandi stated that he had written to the Chief Minister on April 19, 2022, highlighting irregularities in the tendering process of Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited. However, no action was taken by the government.

He demanded that the CM recommend a CBI inquiry into the matter, emphasizing that the scam spans across two states.
DGP Appointed to Shield Scammers
He further alleged that the DGP had been appointed illegally as part of a conspiracy to shield the scam accused. Marandi also claimed that in a major land case in the state, three key witnesses are being pressured to retract their statements.
Mentions Arrest of Vinay Choubey
Referring to the arrest of former Excise Secretary Vinay Choubey, Marandi said the government is trying to create the illusion that it is not involved in the scam.

He insisted that the trail leads directly to the Chief Minister. Marandi urged the government to ensure proper medical care and security for Choubey.
