Ranchi, Sept 23: BJP’s Parivartan Yatra commenced on September 23 from the holy Chitraveshwar Dham in the Baharagora Assembly constituency of Kolhan division with a prayer ceremony. Following this, a massive public rally was held at the Shakha Ground in Baharagora.

Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand Assembly Election In-Charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the Parivartan Mahasabha during the event.

In his speech, Chouhan said, “The darkness will end, the sun will rise, the lotus will bloom, and change will come.” He emphasized that this is not the government of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) but a “government of crime, murder, and mafia” led by Hemant Soren.

Taking a jibe at Soren, he said, “Hemant Soren promised to provide 5 lakh government jobs, but four years and 10 months have passed, and nothing has been done. Now, as the elections approach, they are organizing races, in which 15 young people lost their lives.”

Chouhan added that over 2.87 lakh government job positions are vacant, and once the BJP government is formed, the first Cabinet meeting will decide to provide employment to the youth.

“Hemant will come, offer alms, and distribute a thousand”

Shivraj Singh Chouhan also questioned the safety of women in the state, stating, “In Jharkhand, neither daughters, nor land, nor food is safe.”

During the rally, some women presented soil to him on stage, to which Chouhan pledged that if the BJP government comes to power, the safety of daughters, land, and food will be ensured.

He accused the Hemant government of supporting foreign infiltrators and stated that if the BJP forms the government, these infiltrators will be identified and deported.

He added, “Hemant Soren had promised Rs 2,000 for cooking expenses, but now, as the elections approach, he is trying to trap the public by offering Rs 1,000 under the guise of honoring women. We must not fall into this trap.”

Every poor will get a permanent house

In his address, Chouhan discussed providing permanent houses for the poor in Jharkhand. He stated, “Once our government is in place, every poor person will be provided with a permanent house, and sand for construction will be given for free.”

Additionally, he promised that if the BJP forms the government, the National Register of Citizens (NRC) will be implemented in the state to identify and deport foreign infiltrators.

Jharkhand’s picture will change

Shivraj Singh Chouhan urged the public to support the BJP. He said, “Give us the chance for change, and we will give you a better Jharkhand. Press the button on the lotus symbol to uproot this government, and we will transform Jharkhand’s picture and destiny.”

“Loot, lies, and corruption govt, public will oust it”: Babulal Marandi

BJP State President Babulal Marandi addressed the gathering, stating that this is the fifth “Parivartan Yatra” starting from this location.

He sharply criticized the JMM government, saying, “This government has been looting Jharkhand for the past five years. Fraudulent land deals and corruption are at their peak. We need to remove such looters from power. Only the BJP can make Jharkhand progress, and Jharkhand resides in the hearts of BJP members.”

He further remarked that this government is betraying the interests of tribals and the state.

“The time has come for us to unite and oust this corrupt government from power,” he added.
