BOI hosts note exchange, coin awareness fair in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 1: The Bank of India’s (BOI) main branch in Bistupur organized a special Coin Distribution and Note Exchange Fair today.

The primary objective of the event was to ensure easy access to coins for the general public and to facilitate the hassle-free exchange of old, torn, or damaged currency notes.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Manager Rajat Kumari Tigga emphasized that the bank consistently organizes such events to enhance customer convenience and promote smoother, more transparent cash management.

Also present were Senior Manager Ramesh Ranjak and Joint Custodian Shyam Pad Das, who addressed misconceptions about the validity of coins and urged people to use them without hesitation.

The event saw participation from local traders, customers, and residents, who exchanged currency in various denominations and benefitted from the services provided.

Bank officials assured that similar fairs will continue to be held in the future as part of their ongoing commitment to customer service.

The event concluded successfully and received positive feedback from attendees.
