CAIT and PJP Cinepolis offer movie discounts to boost voter turnout in Jamshedpur for May 25 polls

Jamshedpur, May 22: In a groundbreaking effort to boost voter turnout, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), under the leadership of National Secretary Suresh Sonthalia, has partnered with PJP Cinepolis to offer significant discounts to voters. This initiative is part of a larger campaign to ensure 100% voter participation in Jamshedpur.

During a meeting at PM Mall, Suresh Sonthalia engaged with shopkeepers and officials from PJP Cinema to solicit their support in raising voter awareness.

Responding positively, Somen Bhattacharya, Nitesh Kumar, Akshay Sharma, and Raj Gaurav of PJP Cinema and PM Mall pledged full cooperation.

They announced an unprecedented 20% discount on movie tickets at PJP Cinema for voters, with a maximum discount of Rs 120. Additionally, they offered free refills of Jumbo popcorn and cold drinks.

This initiative marks the first time in multiplex cinema history that such incentives are being offered to encourage voting. The discount and free refills aim to attract especially young voters, motivating them to participate in the democratic process.

Suresh Sonthalia urges record voter turnout in Jamshedpur for May 25 polls

Suresh Sonthalia urged all voters to make the world’s largest democratic exercise a success by voting in the sixth phase on May 25. He called for a united effort from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, and tribal communities to set a record turnout for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

He emphasized the importance of responsible voting, stating, “If there is no ink mark on your finger on the day of voting, then you do not have the right to depend on any political system for the next five years. My vote is for the country, and by voting, you become a responsible citizen.”

Prominent figures Bharat Vasni, Kishore Golchha, and Dilip Goyal from the CAIT delegation also attended the event, reinforcing the message that every single vote matters.

This historic initiative underscores the commitment of CAIT and PJP Cinepolis to fostering a robust democratic process through innovative and engaging means.
