Ranchi, March 28: DPS Ranchi recently organised an excursion trip to Dubai for students from Classes VI to IX from March 21 to March 28. This journey provided students with a rich cultural experience and unforgettable memories.

The students witnessed an educational excursion to Dubai’s historical and captivating land. The trip, filled with cultural immersion and enlightening experiences, was memorable for everyone involved.

The excursion took place over eight days, during which the students had the opportunity to explore Dubai’s rich history, iconic landmarks, and vibrant traditions.

Students delved deep into the mysteries of Dubai while indulging in the country’s modern charms under the guidance of teachers.

The excursion commenced with a flight from Ranchi to Lucknow, beginning an exciting journey. After breakfast and a brief exploration of Lucknow, students embarked on their flight to Dubai via Sharjah.

Upon arrival, they were whisked away to the Swiss Pearl Hotel, followed by a delightful city tour on the third day of the trip.

Dubai city tour

Students indulged in a Dubai city tour during the excursion, exploring iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, accompanied by teachers and guides.

On day 4, adventurous spirits soared as students enjoyed a day filled with exhilarating activities at Ski Dubai.

The excitement continued with a thrilling Desert Safari, culminating in a delightful dinner under the starlit desert sky.

Journey to Abu Dhabi

Day 5, brimming with excitement, awaited as students embarked on a journey to Abu Dhabi to experience the adrenaline-pumping rides at Ferrari World, complemented by sumptuous meals.

On day 6, students enjoyed shopping at a mall before embarking on a mesmerising Dhow Cruise, creating cherished memories against the stunning Dubai skyline.

The final day in Dubai included visiting the iconic Dubai Frame and last-minute shopping endeavours, encapsulating the essence of this vibrant city.

Students bid farewell to Dubai, enriched with cultural experiences and fond memories.

As the excursion drew close, students departed from Lucknow and returned to Ranchi, carrying unforgettable experiences and newfound friendships.

Nurturing holistic development 

Principal Dr Ram Singh emphasised the significance of such excursions in nurturing holistic development and cultural understanding among students.

He said, “The DPS Ranchi excursion to Dubai exemplified the school’s commitment to providing students with diverse learning opportunities beyond the classroom, fostering a spirit of exploration and cultural appreciation. As students return home, they carry with them not just memories but also a broader perspective of the world around them”.
