New Delhi, April 17: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids on Thursday morning at the Delhi residences of senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Gujarat co-incharge Durgesh Pathak.
The action was taken in connection with alleged violations of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).
Earlier on Wednesday, the CBI had registered a case in this matter. Now, the agency is conducting searches at Pathak’s premises in Delhi.

The Aam Aadmi Party has targeted the BJP over the CBI raids, alleging that as soon as preparations for the Gujarat elections gained momentum, the BJP orchestrated the raids as part of a conspiracy.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP national secretary Sandeep Pathak and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh have slammed the BJP-led central government over the raids.
