Ranchi, November 11: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today flagged off publicity vehicles at his residential complex to launch a state-wide awareness campaign celebrating 25 glorious years of Jharkhand’s formation and the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter in the state’s journey of development and empowerment.
The campaign, organized by the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), aims to reach every district, block, and village of Jharkhand. The vehicles will spread information about the state’s achievements, welfare schemes, and developmental milestones over the past 25 years. The initiative seeks to motivate youth, women, farmers, and all sections of society to take part in Jharkhand’s inclusive growth and progress.
CM Soren: 25 Years of Jharkhand Symbolise Self-Respect and Progress
Extending his greetings to the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee, Chief Minister Hemant Soren described the 25-year journey as a story of self-respect, struggle, and continuous progress.

He said, “The government is working with full commitment to realise the vision and aspirations with which Jharkhand was created. Along with the Silver Jubilee celebrations, we will also commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, which is a moment of great pride and inspiration for the tribal and indigenous communities.”
Cultural Performances Showcase Jharkhand’s Rich Heritage
The celebration also featured vibrant glimpses of Jharkhand’s rich culture and traditions. Local artists performed traditional folk dances and songs, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of Jharkhandi musical instruments.
Various cultural groups highlighted the state’s unity, heritage, and folk traditions through their performances. A Santhali band from Dumka and several other folk artists delivered captivating shows, reflecting the cultural pride and spirit of Jharkhand.

The event was attended by MLA Kalpana Soren, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri, Director of Information and Public Relations Department Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, and several senior officials from various departments.
