In the new campus of Ranchi University, different zones, including the academic zone, administrative zone, recreational zone, residential zone, buffer zone, and extension zone, are to be established. The Chief Minister emphasized that any construction in this area should be maintenance-free, and all arrangements should be in place to ensure proper maintenance.

The Chief Minister directed officials to plan the construction of buildings in accordance with the geographical location (contour) of the land. Before commencing any construction, a comprehensive plan should be prepared based on the land’s contour.

The Chief Minister stated that the university campus should be developed in various zones. In this regard, there should be well-organized parking facilities in each zone. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining greenery on the campus.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to install solar panels in the new campus. Additionally, he suggested the creation of an emergency exit route apart from the main entrance and exit for the university.

The Chief Minister said that the new campus of the university should have a separate zone for cricket, hockey, football and volleyball and other sports. It should not happen that the field for one sport is in one zone and for another sport it is in a different zone. This can cause inconvenience for the players. Therefore, arrangements for all sports should be in one single zone.
