“We have found a strong clue about the gang responsible for the killing of Vinay Singh. We are working on it. We hope the case will be detected soon,” Garg said while talking to The Jharkhand Story.

The police seemed to have got the clue from the call that had prompted Vinay Singh to go away from the shop in a huff towards the Dimna Chowk and beyond.

Sources from the knowledgeable circle revealed that the elements belonging to the same community that Vinay Singh was from are responsible for the murder.

“There was an undercurrent of rivalry between the emerging Hindu righteous leader and a Mango-based dreaded criminal over establishing supremacy respectively in the area. The criminal has finally conspired to murder his rival,” said the sources.
