Mahto addresses party event
Mahto, visiting Dhanbad for the first time since his nomination as state president, spoke at the party program ‘Samvad Aapke Sath,’ held at Vivah Bhawan on Lubicircular Road. He expressed confidence that the JMM-Congress alliance would form the government again following the assembly elections.
The event was attended by senior Congress leaders, including state senior vice-president and disciplinary committee chairman Brajendra Prasad Singh, district president Santosh Singh, senior leader Bijay Kumar Singh, and Jaleswar Mahto.
Mahto highlighted that the BJP leaders are reportedly concerned about the popularity of the alliance government. “Welfare schemes launched by the alliance government have made it popular in the state and will ensure a landslide victory in the assembly elections,” he added.
