Jamshedpur, Nov 24:  A depression brewing over the Bay of Bengal is likely to impact Jharkhand’s weather around mid-week

Though weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain but said it would result in cloud cover in several pockets of Jharkhand.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.

A cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over the South Andaman Sea and the neighbourhood around  November 25.

Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea and the neighbourhood around November 26.

It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea around November 27.

Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 30.5°C was recorded at Daltonganj while the lowest minimum temperature of 11.9°C was recorded at Garhwa.
