Diabetes experts to attend RSSDI Jharkhand chapter conference

Dhanbad, Nov 3: The annual conference of the Research Society for Study of Diabetes of India (RSSDI) Jharkhand chapter will be held in Dhanbad.

RSSDI Jharkhand secretary Dr Ajay Patwari of Jamshedpur, giving this information, today said that a three-day annual conference would be held at Dhanbad Wadelock Green Resort from January  5 to 7.

“Over 70  diabetes expert physicians of the country would participate in RSSDI annual conference of Jharkhand chapter and will share new research in diabetes disease as well as treatment in 2023  among themselves and with local physicians of Jharkhand”, said Dr Ajay Patwari after the meeting of state body on Thursday.

Dr Patwari said that since in the three-day conference, national experts would review the latest developments in diabetes research, it would be proved milestone for  Jharkhand physicians involved in diabetes control programmes.

Activities of the RSSDI Jharkhand chapter have increased and are gaining ground in Jharkhand after for the first time a medico of Jharkhand, eminent diabetes physician Dr NK Singh, was elected executive member in the RSSDI national body last year.

Dr NK Singh of Dhanbad has been made chairman of the reception committee of the organizing committee and Dr VSV Prasad is the organizing chairman. Dr Ajay Patwari is serving as the organizing secretary.

For registration of doctors in the conference,  RSSDI has launched a website and social media platforms.

At the RSSDI state chapter meeting  Dr UK Ojha HoD SNMMCH Dhanbad, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr  Nirmal Drolia, Dr Sudhir, Leena Singh, Dr Seema Patwari, Dr Praveen Kumar, Dr Thakurmani,  Dr Vivikshat, Dr SK Pathak, Dr G Chatterjee, Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, Dr Nishikant Tirkki, Dr Avinav Anil, Dr DK Pushpal, Dr Tanu Sree, Dr Priyadarshi, Dr Iqbal Nasir and Dr Manas Singh of different districts were present.
