Ranchi, Sept 18: Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan of Delhi Public School, Ranchi, has been appointed as the City Coordinator of the Ranchi district by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Her appointment is effective from September 15, 2025, for a tenure of three years.
As the City Coordinator, Dr. Chauhan will oversee the smooth functioning of various CBSE-related responsibilities. She emphasized that she would ensure all procedures are executed in a timely, transparent and efficient manner.

Expressing her thoughts on this prestigious appointment, Dr. Chauhan said, “I am honored to take on the role of City Coordinator for Ranchi. This position allows me to work closely with schools and educators to ensure the highest standards of academic excellence. I look forward to contributing to the smooth execution of CBSE’s initiatives, fostering a collaborative educational environment, and maintaining the trust of the CBSE Regional Office.”
She further added that with collective support and cooperation, her top priority will be to strengthen the academic enrichment of Ranchi.
