New Delhi, Nov 2: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to visit Australia and Singapore from November 3 to 8, where he will meet with leaders of the two nations and speak address the 8th ASEAN Roundtable, according to an official statement released on Saturday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Jaishankar will co-chair the 15th Foreign Ministers’ Framework Dialogue (FMFD) with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Canberra.
The statement further said that Jaishankar will present the keynote address at the inaugural session of the 2nd Raisina Down Under event at the Australian Parliament House. Additionally, he is scheduled to meet with Australian leaders, parliamentarians, the Indian diaspora, as well as members of the business community, media, and think tanks.

Jaishankar will also visit Brisbane during the trip to inaugurate India’s fourth consulate in Australia, the statement added.
Jaishankar will head to Singapore on November 8 for the second part of his visit, the statement mentioned.
While in Singapore, the he will address the 8th Roundtable of the ASEAN-India Network of Think Tanks. He is also scheduled to meet with Singapore’s leaders to review the strong partnership between the two nations and discuss ways to further strengthen their bilateral relations, the statement said.
