Estimates indicate that the state exchequer suffered a major financial loss as a result of the Value Added Tax (VAT) scam, with a deficit of approximately Rs 70 crore.
Following the Haryana Police’s filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against the Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and other accused parties in connection with the scam, the ED launched its counteroperation.
