THE JHARKHAND STORY DESK

Patna, June 19: A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to poll-bound Bihar, a firing incident was reported near the residence of senior RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna.

The shooting occurred at 1 Polo Road, located in a high-security zone near Raj Bhawan, the Chief Minister’s residence, the Leader of the Opposition’s house, as well as the residences of judges and other top officials. Police reached the scene promptly, and an investigation is currently underway.

Reacting sharply to the incident, Tejashwi Yadav took to social media platform X to criticize the NDA-led government. He alleged that criminals, emboldened by political protection, are now fearlessly operating even in the most secure areas of the state capital.

“In the demonic rule of NDA, the morale of the criminals protected by the government is so high that in the high security zone, at a short distance from the Governor’s residence Raj Bhawan, Chief Minister’s residence, Leader of the Opposition’s residence, Judge’s residence and the airport, the dreaded criminals are roaming around openly firing. Beware! What if someone calls it Jungle Raj? Anyway, the Prime Minister is coming to Bihar tomorrow, he wrote on X.
