Jamshedpur, Oct 31: Jharkhand is likely to experience light rain or thundershowers at isolated places in its eastern parts on Friday, while dry weather is expected to prevail over the rest of the state, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The forecast suggests that shallow to moderate fog or mist will occur during early morning hours across several regions on November 1, followed by a partly cloudy sky later in the day.
From November 2 to 5, the weather is expected to remain mainly clear and dry across Jharkhand, with shallow to moderate fog or mist in the morning hours.

Meanwhile, the marked low-pressure area — the remnant of the severe cyclonic storm “Montha” — persisted over east Vidarbha and adjoining south Chhattisgarh as of Friday morning.
The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 Km above mean sea level and is likely to move northwards towards east Madhya Pradesh and adjoining north Chhattisgarh, weakening gradually into a low-pressure area.
During the past 24 hours, light rainfall was recorded at several places across Jharkhand, while heavy rain was recorded at Sonua in West Singhbhum district, and the highest maximum temperature of 32.3°C was reported from Pakur.
