Chandigarh, September 11: Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday filed their nominations for the Assembly elections.
Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta filed his nomination for the Panchkula Assembly seat, with BJP leader and Haryana affairs co-incharge Biplab Kumar Deb accompanying him.

Hooda submitted his nomination for the Garhi Sampla Kiloi Assembly seat in the Rohtak district and was accompanied by his wife Asha Hooda, son Deepender Hooda and daughter-in-law Sweta Hooda.
BJP candidate Shakti Rani Sharma also filed her nomination for the Kalka seat.
The deadline for submitting nominations is September 12. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on September 13, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until September 16.
The election for the 90 Assembly seats in Haryana will take place on October 5, and the vote count will occur on October 8.
