Ranchi, Nov 28: Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony for his second term as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren shared a post on X.

“Today will be a historic day – a day that will further strengthen our collective struggle, the spirit of love and brotherhood and the commitment of us Jharkhandis towards justice. The great land of Jharkhand has always given birth to protests and struggles and JMM is moving ahead every day carrying the same legacy filled with the struggles of countless heroes including Bhagwan Birsa, Bhagwan Sido-Kanhu, Amar Shaheed Telanga Kharia, Phulo-Jhano, Poto Ho, Sheikh Bhikhari,” Hemant posted on X.

People of Jharkhand stand together amidst increasing pressure on democracy

“Today is not about political victory, today is the day to reiterate our struggle for social justice, the daily battle to strengthen social unity. Today also tells us that the great people of Jharkhand are standing together amidst the increasing pressure on democracy. Today, a voice is resonating in every village, every city – rights, equality, unity means the voice of Jharkhandiyat,” he further stated in his post.

We can neither be divided nor silenced

“Let there be no doubt about it – our unity is our biggest weapon. We can neither be divided nor silenced. Whenever they push us back, we move forward. Whenever they try to silence us, our voice of hools, rebellion, revolution grows louder because we are Jharkhandis, and Jharkhandis do not bow down,” he added.

Further he concluded saying, “Today, when deep cracks are emerging in the social structure, we will have to reiterate the unity of our ancestors and the resolve to take along with us every Jharkhandi. Congratulations to every Jharkhandi for their Abua government. Our fight is firm and unceasing. The struggle continues and will continue till the last breath”.
