Jamshedpur, Feb 6: The minimum temperature would witness a fall from tomorrow, said a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre today.
According to the bulletin, the minimum temperature is expected to witness a 3 to 5 degrees Celsius fall in the next 72 hours.
Notably, the minimum temperature has been witnessing a gradual rise across Jharkhand for the last 4 to 5 days.
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 16.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature shot up to 19.4 degrees Celsius in Jamshedpur today.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 16.5 degrees Celsius while Bokaro today recorded 17.1 degrees.
According to statistics, Gumla today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius.
Chatra recorded 14.9 degrees Celsius while Deoghar recorded 17.1 degrees. Dhanbad today recorded a minimum temperature of 15.2 degrees Celsius while Gumla recorded 12.8 degrees. Jamtara and Khunti recorded over 15 degrees Celsius today.
The Western Disturbance was today seen as a trough in lower and middle tropospheric levels with its axis at 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayan region from February 8.
