Bengaluru, July 2: ITI Limited, India’s premier telecom manufacturing public sector undertaking (PSU), has secured multiple government contracts totalling approximately ₹88 crore in the states of Odisha and Chhattisgarh. The contracts span urban surveillance, land intelligence systems, and critical digital infrastructure upgrades.

  • CCTV and GIS-Based Projects for Cuttack Development Authority (Odisha)
  • The Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) has awarded two major contracts to ITI Limited:
  • CCTV Surveillance and Traffic Signal System
  • Value: ₹54 crore

Scope: Procurement and installation of surveillance cameras at key locations in Cuttack, integrated with software systems such as ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), analytics, traffic signal setup, and maintenance for five years.

GIS-Based Land Intelligence Management System

Value: ₹23.05 crore

Scope: Implementation of a GIS-based land intelligence system within the Bidanasi Development Project Area, including location-wise property mapping using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology across the CDA Plan Area.

These projects are aimed at strengthening urban governance, land record digitization, and smart city surveillance in Cuttack.

WLAN/LAN Upgrade Project in Chhattisgarh

In a separate deal, Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) has selected ITI Limited for:

Project: Implementation and upgradation of WLAN/LAN infrastructure at Mantralaya and HoD Bhawan in Nava Raipur

Value: ₹11.72 crore

Purpose: To improve internal digital connectivity across key state government buildings, facilitating better governance and data management.

CMD’s Statement: Strengthening E-Governance Infrastructure

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Rai, Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited, said, “We are glad to secure these new contracts from the Governments of Odisha and Chhattisgarh. These projects reflect the trust placed in ITI Limited to deliver reliable ICT solutions that advance e-governance and public service delivery.”

He added, “Our team is excited to contribute to these important initiatives. We remain committed to executing ahead of schedule and delivering top-notch digital solutions.”

Ongoing Projects and Growing Presence

  • ITI Limited is already working on several state-level ICT projects, including:
  • The Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra (ASSK) initiative in Maharashtra
  • Wi-Fi and LAN infrastructure at Sambalpur University in Odisha

These recent wins further enhance the PSU’s portfolio in the government digital services space, reinforcing its role as a key enabler of India’s e-governance and digital infrastructure goals.
