JAC 12th result 2026 declared: Arts records 96.14% pass percentage, science 82.92%

Ranchi, May 6: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Wednesday officially declared the Class 12 Intermediate Examination Results 2026. Students can check their results online through the DigiLocker portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.

This year, lakhs of students appeared in the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, with the Arts stream recording the highest pass percentage.

Arts Stream Records Highest Success Rate

According to JAC data, a total of 2,12,721 students registered for the Arts stream examination, of whom 2,11,095 appeared.

Among them, 2,02,962 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage in Arts to 96.14%, the highest among all streams.

Arts Stream Toppers

  1. Chirkit Kumar – 478 marks (95.6%)
  2. Ankit Kumar – 474 marks (94.8%)
  3. Anshu Kumar – 473 marks (94.6%)

Science Stream Pass Percentage at 82.92%

In the Science stream, 90,638 students had registered, while 90,168 students appeared in the examination.

Out of them, 74,771 students cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.92%.

Science Stream Toppers

  1. Rashida Naz – 489 marks (97.8%)
  2. Mohd Faizan Alam – 483 marks (96.6%)
  3. Akanksha Kumari – 481 marks (96.2%)
  4. Sana Afreen – 481 marks (96.2%)

Commerce Stream Achieves 93.37% Pass Rate

In the Commerce stream, 21,228 students registered and 21,078 students appeared for the examination.

A total of 19,681 students passed, taking the pass percentage to 93.37%.

Commerce Stream Toppers

  1. Sweta Prasad – 478 marks (95.6%)
  2. Krish Kumar Barnwal – 472 marks (94.4%)
  3. Priyanshi Khatri – 471 marks (94.2%)

JAC Congratulates Successful Students

The Jharkhand Academic Council congratulated all successful candidates and encouraged students who could not clear the examination not to lose hope and to prepare better for future opportunities.

The council also advised students to check results only through official portals to avoid misinformation or technical fraud.
