Jamshedpur, Nov 16: All roads led to the ancestral home of Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda at Ghorabandha here on Thursday
The occasion was the grand Kali Puja bhog distribution ceremony.
Like every year, this year too Munda played the perfect host, personally serving bhog to visitors across all strata with gracious smiles and namaskars.
People made a beeline since 10 am. The guests included former ministers, MLAs, MPs, corporate honchos, bureaucrats, cops, senior citizens and commoners.
Various members of the Munda clan also turned up for the occasion.
Munda had attended the Kali Puja with his family members at his ancestral home on November 12, Sunday.
He had left for Ranchi for the Prime Minister’s visit to Ranchi.
He reached Jamshedpur on Wednesday evening.
The bhog included khichdi, fried brinjal, mixed vegetables, chutney and kheer- in the traditional style.
Munda mingled with guests and exchanged pleasantries.
Among those who attended the function included veteran loyalist and Dhanbad MP P.N. Singh, former minister Dinesh Sarangi, industrialists S.K. Behra, Ranaveer Sinha, former chairman of state Khadi and Village industries Jainandu etc.
