Ranchi, Nov 24: The Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) has announced the names of coaches for special training of the state’s teams in different events at  Ranchi Khelgaon camps and the JCERT (Jharkhand Council For Education Research And Training).

Jharkhand’s boys’ and girls’ teams in different events would participate in the 67th  School Games Federation of India (SGFI) national championships scheduled to be held in different states. Some of the events of the national championship have already concluded while some of them are under progress.

JEPC’s first special training camp

This is the first time JEPC has organized a 20-day special training camp for teams at Khelgaon Ranchi and JCERT before departure to the championship venue. NIS coaches of state in different disciplines are imparting tips to selected players.

As per the list issued by JEPC  administrative officer  Jayant Kumar Mishra, Shila Kumari and Santosh Kumar Singh have been made coaches for the Yoga camp of  under-19 boys’ and girls’ team to be organized at JCERT Ranchi from December 1 to December 17.

Kho-Kho training camp 

Kho-Kho training camp for  under-17 boys’ and girls’ teams which already started at Khelgaon on November 14 and would continue till November 30- Ajit Kumar  (Koderma) and Rakesh Kumar (Deoghar) have been made coaches while for the under-19 boys’ and girls’ team camp started on November 14 and will continue till December 8- Md Moin  Ansari (Dumka), Anamika Tirki (Ranchi) and Anita Tigga (Ranchi) are coaches.

Badminton training camp

The Badminton training camp for under-19 boys and girls which started at Khelgaon on November 20 will continue till December 8- Ravishankar Keshri, (Ranchi),  Balbinder Singh (Ranchi), Avinash Kumar (Hazaribagh) and Mrinal Ghosh Khalko (Ranchi) are coaches.

Lawn Tennis training camp

The Lawn Tennis training camp for under-19 boys which already started at Khelgaon on November 20 will continue till December 12-  Mohit Miraj Minz (Ranchi) is the coach.

Volleyball training camp

Volleyball training camp for  under-14 boys and girls that will kick start from December 1 and continue till December 20- Amit Kumar (Dumka), Ankit Kumar Singh (Latehar) and Suhangi Marandi (Bokaro) are coaches.
