Ranchi, June 5: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the results for the Class 12 Arts stream. This year, the pass percentage stands at 95.62%, a notable improvement over last year’s 93.16%.

Out of 2,28,959 registered candidates, 2,27,222 appeared for the exams and 2,17,273 have successfully passed.

Dev Tiwari from Sahibganj emerged as the state topper by scoring 481 out of 500 marks. He is a student of Plus Two JK High School, Rajmahal.

Students can check their results on the official websites — jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in — or via SMS.
The Class 12 board exams were conducted from February 11 to March 4 this year. Previously, the council had released the Class 10 results on May 27 and the Science and Commerce stream results for Class 12 on May 31. This year, the pass percentage for Science was 79.26% and for Commerce, 91.2%.

Prerna Kumari of RN +2 High School, Padma, scored 470 marks to secure the second position.
The third rank was jointly shared by Suraj Kumar Das from +2 JK High School, Rajmahal, and Kumari Ritambhara from Upgraded +2 High School, Kumharlalo, both of whom scored 466 marks.

Shreya Anand of RN +2 High School, Padma, stood next with 464 marks. Meanwhile, the fifth position was jointly shared by three students — Ananya Pal from Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi; Usha Rani from Government Inter College, Balumath; and Shivani Kumari from Dr. A.N. +2 High School, Kairo, Lohardaga — each scoring 463 marks.
