New Delhi, May 2: Jharkhand Government’s Resident Commissioner, Arava Rajkamal, conducted a detailed surprise inspection of the New Jharkhand Bhawan, reviewing overall arrangements and facilities.

During the inspection, he carried out physical verification of building maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen operations, employee attendance records, and staff work protocols.

Rajkamal directed officials to develop the Bhawan into a model centre for efficient administrative coordination and improved public amenities.

Push for Digital and Transparent Systems

He emphasised maintaining systematic employee records and introducing electronic modules and digital monitoring systems to make administration more transparent and technology-driven.

He also issued directives to launch an online feedback system, regularly update manual records, ensure proper maintenance of restrooms, and improve waste management systems.

During the visit, the Resident Commissioner interacted directly with staff to understand their concerns and suggestions. He instructed officials to ensure prompt and practical resolution of grievances.

Proposal for New Offices

Discussions were also held on setting up offices for the Department of Industries and the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) within the Bhawan complex. The move aims to strengthen Jharkhand Bhawan as a hub for administrative, industrial, tourism, and public relations activities in Delhi.

While reviewing kitchen operations, he directed that food supplies be ensured on time to avoid inconvenience to guests staying at the Bhawan.
