Ranchi, June 18: Chief Minister Champai Soren today asked Tourism department officials to make a work plan to develop Rajrappa in Ramgarh district as a world class tourist place.
The CM was holding a high-level review of the updated work progress of the Department of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs in the presence of officials in the Jharkhand Ministry. During this, the Chief Minister gave many important guidelines to the officials.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the natural beauty in Jharkhand is unmatched. It is the good fortune of all Jharkhand residents that many important religious places of different communities and a unique mixture of different art and culture have been found here.
Many possibilities in the field of tourism including religious, spiritual
Soren said that the government should move forward by making a better action plan on what work needs to be done to bring the tourism and religious places of Jharkhand on the world map.
He told the officials that there are many possibilities in the field of various tourism including religious, spiritual in the state. Keeping in view these multi-dimensional tourism possibilities, it is very important to develop them.
The CM said that the state government is trying that all the tourists who come to visit Jharkhand should go back to their home with a better experience from here, so that Jharkhand can have a different identity in the country and the world in the field of tourism.
He told the officials that Rajrappa located in Ramgarh district can be developed as a world class religious tourist destination, for this, prepare DPR as soon as possible and the officials should also make an action plan on what can be done in Rajrappa.

Development of Luguburu and Marangburu as tourist destination
The Chief Minister directed the officials that Luguburu and Marangburu, the religious places of faith and belief of the tribal religious followers, should be developed as a better tourist destination as soon as possible.
The officials of the Tourism Department should prepare a better DPR for this purpose as soon as possible and start further action.
Development of Pahari Mandir
The Chief Minister directed the officials that complete development of the Pahari Mandir complex Ranchi is necessary. Pahari Mandir is a big religious place of faith and belief.
A proposal was prepared by the state government to build a ropeway in Pahari Mandir, for this purpose feasibility verification was also done, and the CM said that officials should get the feasibility report soon and start further action.
He also said that whatever road has been prepared for the development of Pahadi Mandir, ensure that work starts on it as soon as possible.
Renovation of Hundru Falls should be expedited
Chief Minister Champai Soren said that renovation of Hundru Falls and guest house construction work should be expedited. The Chief Minister said that all the tourist places identified by the department which are to be developed, should not be lax in the progress of work on those places but should work at a fast pace and complete all the work on time.
The Chief Minister told the officer that if needed, study the tourism places of other states to develop the tourism and religious places of the state. The Chief Minister said that the state government wants that all the identified tourist places of Jharkhand should be developed, only then the cultural pride of the state will increase and the economy will also be strong.

CM directs to develop Sarna religious places of state
In the meeting, the Chief Minister also emphasized on the development of Sarna religious places of the state.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to develop Serengadaghati (Kolhan) as a tourist destination. He instructed the officials to ensure that the tribal religious followers visit the Sarna site under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana.
The Chief Minister instructed to develop the Sido Kanhu statue site and Ulihatu Shaheed Sthal located at Bhognadih on priority.
He said that all these sites are important heritage of Jharkhand and preserving these sites is the priority of the state government.
Work of Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club needs to be expedited
Chief Minister Champai Soren directed the officials to speed up the formation and registration work of Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club.
On the spot, the officials informed the Chief Minister that so far 27 thousand 248 Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club have been formed in the state, in which more than 11 thousand clubs have been registered, now the registration work will also be done through cooperative so that the work can be expedited.
The Chief Minister told the officials that there is a need to move forward with the aim of achieving the set target by simplifying the formation and registration work of Sido Kanhu Yuva Khel Club.
Maintenance of Khelgaon crucial
In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure the maintenance of Khelgaon in Ranchi at all costs. The Chief Minister said that it is the priority of the state government to fulfill the purpose for which Khelgaon was built. It should be ensured that various sports competitions are organized in Khelgaon.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister has instructed the officials to start the construction work of Adityapur-1, football ground, Ramchandrapur football ground and Adityapur-2, Pragati ground soon.
On this occasion, the officials discussed in detail many important sports schemes in the state in front of the Chief Minister. Many important points were discussed in detail, including many important policies made by the Sports Department, residential sports training center, day-boarding sports training center, operation of Center of Excellence, installation of high performing center for various sports disciplines and important sports schemes to be taken in the current financial year.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also gave many important guidelines to the officials in this regard.
Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Secretary of Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department Manoj Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Arwa Rajkamal, Sports Director Sushant Gaurav, Tourism Director Anjali Yadav and other officials were present in the meeting.
