Ranchi, Dec 14: After 17 years of struggle, Sunil Brijia, a youth from the primitive tribal community in Latehar, finally received his rightful due after the intervention of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Following the Chief Minister’s directive, he was provided with a job on compassionate grounds.
This comes after the CM had taken note of the issue and directed the Latehar DC to take prompt action in this regard.
Informing the Chief Minister about the development, the Deputy Commissioner of Latehar stated that Sunil Brijia has been appointed based on the decision of the Compassionate Committee and has been placed in the position from the date of joining.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren was informed that Ramdas Brijia, the father of Sunil Brijia from Henar village in Latehar, was a government school teacher. He passed away in 2007.
As per government provisions, Sunil was entitled to a job on compassionate grounds, but he had not received the job until now. But after CM’s intervention, he has now been provided a job.
