Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today handed over appointment letters to 93 engineers and lower division clerks (LDCs) at the Project Bhawan (Jharkhand secretariat) auditorium. These included 47 civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers and 46 LDCs.

On this occasion, the CM congratulated all the newly appointed officials. He said that soon there will be large-scale appointments in many departments. Preparations are being made for this, he added. He said that we have given many appointments in this auditorium. “The government has made a lot of appointments in a short time. Officials of many departments including BDO-CO, DSP, teachers, agriculture, and sports have been appointed. We have done better work amid challenges like Corona and drought. Appointments have been made in all departments. Not a month passes when appointment letters are not distributed. Every month appointment letters are being given to some category of people. The government is engaged in fulfilling the promises made to the people of the state with full honesty, but the people of the opposition are taking to the streets and shouting that there has been no development,” he maintained.

Appointment rules in Jharkhand

The Chief Minister said that we took power after a long political battle. “There were many challenges in a state like Jharkhand. Earlier there were no rules for appointments, for the first time after becoming a state, we made appointment rules for JPSC. Many departments did not have appointment rules, so how could appointments be made? The CM said that the government wants our Jharkhandi brothers to get employment. For this, we not only provided government jobs but also provided private jobs by organizing camps,” he said.

The CM said that such policies are being made in the country due to which every government thing is being privatized. “There are many challenges in Jharkhand. Despite so many challenges, the financial management of Jharkhand is also ahead of Gujarat. This is the first state in the country where children from backward, poor, and minority groups are going to study abroad. We sent 50 children to study abroad. Many youths got jobs there, while many of them are returning and serving the country and the state. The CM announced that some teachers would also be appointed after a few days. Many officials including Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to CM Vandana Dadel, and Secretary to CM Vinay Choubey were present in the programme.
