In the same sequence, a vehicle checking campaign was conducted on Wednesday near the Murgidih police camp of the Barwadih police station area of the district.

Money recovered from Bihar contractor

During vehicle checking by SI Ashok Singh and Magistrate Kamlesh Kumar Singh, the police recovered Rs 5 lakh 65 thousand in cash while checking the car (JH03AM-1077). The money has been recovered from Ravindra Kumar Singh, a resident of Aurangabad, Bihar, who was travelling in the car.

The investigation team informed police station in-charge Radheshyam Prasad. On receiving the information, station in-charge Radheshyam Singh reached the spot, and the money was counted in the presence of the flying squad team. Ravindra Singh, who was travelling in the car on the spot, could not show any document related to this amount.

Police station in-charge Shri Prasad said that the police team is continuously running a vehicle checking campaign regarding the model code of conduct.
